My Mission & Goal

I am very excited to serve the patients of Island Cosmetic and Family Dentistry here in Cocoa Beach. As my patient, you can expect to be treated like family. My goal is to make a positive influence in community by offering high-quality, comprehensive and compassionate dental care in a friendly and stress-free environment for my patients. I understand that coming to dental office can be daunting to many, and therefore I try to alleviate their anxiety by educating and counselling my patients about their oral health and targeting their specific needs. Dentistry has the power of healing and I feel there is no greater pleasure than having the ability to alleviate people’s pain. Together, we can achieve improved oral health and happier smiles in a relaxed environment.

 I bring with myself 18 years of experience and skills in Dentistry. I grew up in India where I attended high school and completed my major in Biological Sciences. In 2004, I graduated from Dental school in India & earned BDS degree. I subsequently practiced in India as a general dentist for several years. I moved to United States to expand my knowledge and skills. I earned Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. I have earned my dental degree in 2 countries, which reflects my utmost dedication towards Dentistry.

 Continuing Education & Professional Memberships

 I am committed to continuing education to remain current with state-of-the-art technology, procedures and materials in dentistry. Therefore, I attend various Continuing education courses and workshops to give the community the best. I am currently an active member of American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association and Dental Society of Greater Orlando.

Life & Hobbies

When I am not in office, I like to spend my free time with my family and friends. I live with my husband and 2 children. I like to play badminton and chess. I also love traveling, exploring various cultures in different parts of the world and trying out different restaurants and cuisines. I can speak English, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi and am learning Spanish. With this constantly changing face of dentistry, I wish to expand my knowledge and skills further and help the community as best as I can. I really want to put my sincere efforts to contribute to healthier and confident smiles. It is my goal to make high quality dental health care available to all.

I want my patients to know that I truly care about them and that improved oral health can positively affect many aspects of life and opens doors to new opportunities. I also believe that the best dental care results from working collaboratively with patients in order to formulate individualized treatment plans that meet each person’s unique needs and expectations.”

Dr. Naidu strives to continually broaden her knowledge to ensure all her patients are receiving the highest quality of care. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central Florida Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Life & Hobbies

Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Naidu worked as a software engineer in both the finance and high-tech sectors. She found her calling for dentistry after volunteering for a mission trip to Ensenada, Mexico. She completed her dental education in beautiful upstate New York but after living there for more than a decade, she was ready to get away from the cold. She is happy to now call sunny Florida home because it reminds her of all the warm places she lived while growing up namely, Singapore, California, and India.

Dr. Naidu is a firm believer in giving back and has traveled to remote areas of the United States, Mexico, India, and the Dominican Republic to provide free dental services for those in need.

In her free time, she loves to travel with her family, play board games, explore different cuisines, practice yoga, garden, and spend time with family and friends. She is bilingual in English and Tamil and is currently learning Spanish.
